Trail centers and bike parks are continually building more technical trails, which come with higher demands from customers of bike schools. The Technical Trails Camp is the perfect preparation for coaching rides on challenging technical trails.
  • teaching methods focused on descending steep trails, boulders, and rocks
  • riding in rugged terrain and on bridges
  • for those interested in working with intermediate and advanced clients
  • application of technical maneuvers such as roll, drop, front and rear wheel lifting, wheelie, manual, and bunny hop
  • the camp also covers the topic of mental training
  • mandatory preparatory camps for completing the ITC–B course

Conditions/Requirements for Course Applicants:

Holder of Bike Licence ITC-D/C

 

The price includes instruction by our professional instructors and the issuance of the ITC-Technical Trails license

 

 

Course Schedule:

First Day: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Second Day: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

 

 

Completion Method, Examinations:

Assessment takes place during the camp, during simulated teaching sessions and technical rides. (It includes balance bridges, riding on a challenging rocky trail, technical uphill and downhill sections, roll, drop, bunny hop applied when ascending an obstacle).

 

A successful graduate will receive a Technical Trails certificate as a part of the educational system for MTB Instructor and Guide issued by the Association of Professional Instructors and Guides MTB z.s.

After successfully completing the course, the graduate is prepared to:

  • work with safety rules, risk management, and organizational skills for safe and enjoyable group rides in challenging technical terrain
  • select appropriate locations and terrain for effective teaching
  • manage teaching and communication with intermediate and advanced-level clients
  • lead riding instruction on medium to high-difficulty technical trails
  • identify the client’s needs and choose an individual approach to optimize their development
  • demonstrate and explain technical riding elements in the field at intermediate and advanced levels
  • analyze the client’s ride and help them identify strengths and weaknesses in their performance
  • design and lead appropriate improvement exercises
